Where is PierSchool kitesurf school located? +
PierSchool is located at Lo Stagnone di Marsala, in the province of Trapani, Sicily. Lo Stagnone is a lagoon with flat, shallow water, ideal for learning kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf.
How much does a kitesurf course at Lo Stagnone cost? +
Private kitesurf courses start from €210 for one day (3 hours) up to €585 for 3 days (9 hours). Group courses start from €130 per person per day. Advanced lessons from €80/hour.
What water sports does PierSchool offer? +
PierSchool offers kitesurf, wing foil and windsurf courses for all levels, from beginners to advanced riders. We also offer latest-generation RRD equipment rental.
Are PierSchool instructors certified? +
Yes, all PierSchool instructors are IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) certified. At the end of the course you'll receive the internationally recognized IKO certification.
What's the best time for kitesurfing at Lo Stagnone? +
The best period is from April to October, with steady thermal wind between 15 and 25 knots almost every day. Temperatures are mild and the Sicilian sun ensures pleasant sessions.
Is equipment included in courses? +
Yes, equipment is included in all courses: kite suited to your level, harness, wetsuit, helmet, radio for communicating with the instructor and impact vest.
What is wing foil and how much does it cost to learn? +
Wing foil is a sport born in 2019 combining sailing and hydrofoiling, allowing you to fly above the water. Courses start from €210 for 3 hours (Intro Course) up to €660 for 12 hours (Time to Fly).
